1975-76 Blue Road Minnesota Fighting Saints
 | After leaving the University of Minnesota, Holmgren opted to stay at home and play in the WHA for the Minnesota Fighting Saints.
Holmgren wore this jersey while playing alongside the real life Hanson Brothers, Jack, Jeff, and Steve Carlson. Holmgren played in 51 games recording 30 points and 121 penalty minutes. Holmgren left Minnesota, for Philadelphia when the team folded. |
